Last month was full of important events, and even more importantly, the vision of Syntropy being the leading and inevitable blockchain connectivity layer for the Web3 economy is becoming as clear as ever.

Before we move on, let’s pause to review what we achieved in May.

Major highlights include:

  • We opened the registration for Syntropy Validator Staking. An initial total of 100 million $NOIA tokens are available to be staked — register here before someone faster takes your spot.
  • Syntropy Co-Founder William B. Norton launched a Business Case for an Internet Blockchain white paper, which is a deeper dive into why Syntropy is a foundational layer to secure the Internet via blockchain.
  • Our developers finalized and launched the Windows App for Syntropy Stack, which is another step in becoming the Internet’s blockchain, making all connectivity fast, secure, and resilient by default.
  • CoinShares CSO Meltem Demirors joined a fireside conversation with Syntropy CEO Domas Poviliauskas and discussed why Syntropy is the leading blockchain connectivity layer for the Web3 economy. You can watch the Crowdcast AMA replay here.
  • We’ve partnered with DatHost (a major hosting company with 250k+ users) to launch a @CS:GO tournament on Syntropy. Registration ends on the 3rd of June, so make sure to register here. The competition will begin on the 5th of June.
  • Due to high interest in DeWeb Virtual Hackathon, we decided to prolong the registration to the 7th of June. Don’t be afraid and put up a dream team to claim up to $25,000 in prizes — find your partner on our Discord.

Syntropy Validator Staking

Last month, we launched Syntropy Validator Staking for the NOIA ERC-20 token. The staking program is designed to initiate the token economy and enable Syntropy to acquire validators for its blockchain.

Validator Staking Roadmap

  • Stage 1: Validator registration starts, qualified registrants claim their slots and start generating yield immediately.
  • Stage 2: Validators start connecting to the network as technical requirements are being checked
  • Stage 3: ERC-20 Smart Contracts arrive* and yields are claimed

*Smart contracts are in the final stage of development, awaiting audit which will take some time due to high demand

A Business Case for an Internet Blockchain

Yesterday, Syntropy Co-Founder William B. Norton launched a Business Case for an Internet Blockchain white paper, which is a deeper dive into why Syntropy is a foundational layer to secure the Internet via blockchain.

The resulting sharing ecosystem is enabled by the Internet blockchain composed of open-source components that work together to create an ideal environment for users and infrastructure. The DARP protocol automatically measures and identifies better network paths across the Internet. The Wireguard technology encrypts every packet such that only the endpoints can decrypt communications. The Substrate blockchain framework provides the autonomous decentralized support for the enhanced Internet that enables accretive growth from tokenization of packet relaying. It is clear that the foundation for Web3 will be internet connectivity via blockchain and Syntropy delivers this foundational layer.

Syntropy Windows Application

In May, we announced the completion of another tech milestone: the launch of the Syntropy Windows Application. This application allows any Windows device to connect with a network deployed by Syntropy Stack.

Developer users can use the Syntropy Windows Application in a myriad of ways. They can connect a Windows machine to a private network and securely access files or other resources remotely. Or they can deploy a network for a smart home setup and control it from their Windows device. Imagination is truly the limit here. Everything you connect with Syntropy Stack can now connect to Windows devices.

Web3 conversation with Meltem Demirors

We are excited about CoinShares CSO Meltem Demirors joining a fireside conversation with Syntropy CEO Domas Poviliauskas. They discussed why Syntropy is the leading blockchain connectivity layer for the Web3 economy. You can watch the replay of the conversation, which went live on Crowdcast down below.

Syntropy CS:GO Tournament

In gaming, performance parity is crucial. Milliseconds matter. Security is also an ever-growing concern of both tournament organizers and gamers alike. This makes gaming a truly natural use case for Syntropy technology.

We’ve gone into great detail on how Syntropy can make gaming faster, safer, and more competitive. To support the competition, we’ve partnered with DatHost, one of the largest CS:GO hosting companies with over 250,000 users. DatHost is providing us with dedicated gaming servers where they have deployed Syntropy Agent software, allowing gamers to connect to tournament matches through the Syntropy Windows application and Discord integration.

Registration ends on the 3rd of June, so make sure to register here. The competition will begin on the 5th of June.

Coming Soon: DeWeb Virtual Hackathon

We’re just one week away from the start of the 2021 DeWeb Hackathon. Don’t be afraid and put up a dream team to claim up to $25,000 in prizes — find your partner on our Discord.

Hackathon website

The opportunities to build on the next-gen web are limitless, yet several areas create immediate, high-value use cases. We’re hosting competitions across six categories: Blockchain, Gaming, IoT, Software, DARP Data analysis, and UI/UX track. Winners will receive their share of a $150,000 prize pool.

The virtual competitions begin on 7th of June. Register for Hackathon.
